About Us
Who we are and what we are about...
We are Brian and Peggy. We are the owners of The Oasis online arcade, The Oasis for short. We will be opening up at 136 Main Street in Hackettstown NJ. Our neighbors will be Manskirt Brewing and Hackettstown Guns and Ammo. We are residents of Hackettstown. We have children who attend Hackettstown High School. Peggy and I love this town. For years I have wanted to open a online gaming arcade. I always got the question, why would someone come to a place to pay money to play games they can do at home? Let me start off with, I am a gamer. Have been since I was 8 years old (I'm 47 now). My best friend had the Atari, the ColecoVision, I owned the first Nintendo and every console after that. PC, PlayStation and every Xbox. I played all the time. Once dial up internet showed up, it changed everything, everything to this day about gaming. I made friends online all across the US. I was able to play with old friends from high school. We still needed to get out of the house though. Most of the time my parents shut off the power to my room just to get me outside. When I did get out though, you want to know where we went? To the arcade. The Great Escape in East Rutherford NJ (not there anymore though). Old school 1up arcade, from Pac Man to Dig Dug and Tron. Spent hours and a lot of quarters there and had a blast. Fast forward to now. I have 2 boys, 18 and 15. My co owner Peggy has a 16yr old boy as well. Can not forget the puppers too, Finn and Ronin. All total gamers like me (not the dogs, although that would be pretty cool).
We are a family of gamers.
Our goal is to bring to Hackettstown a source of entertainment that can be enjoyed by everyone. From teenager to adult, expert to novice. To join together with other businesses to make Hackettstown prosper more then it already has. To bring people together, and maybe along the way new friendships. We are all human, with busy lives. If we can bring to the area a place where people can come to be with friends (old or new) and unwind, have fun, many laughs and great conversations then we have fulfilled our goal.

Gaming Computers
Come play on any one of our custom gaming computers! You'll have your own independent station to use. Bring your own keyboard, mouse and headphones if you like, or just use any of ours. We will offer a variety of games. All offered through our Steam program. Don't see a game on the list you enjoy. Just let us know, I'm sure we can get it.
Choose your Console
Link up with your friends online or right next to each other on any one of our new Xbox, PlayStation or Nintendo Switch. Every console station will be separate from the rest. Kind of like your very own living room.
